Think our TV's were hand me downs. Pretty sure we couldn't afford to rent stuff judging by my childhood summer holidays. Never heard of DER. I remember Rumbelows though, but I don't think we had anything from there either

I just remember Rumbelows being a Electrical store.You must be old and I'm 55. :lol: I brought a Brixton Brief Case from there on my 18th.Travelled with me everywhere until I swapped her for some Basebins..HAPPY DAYS 8-)

Loved it in there..jam packed with all types of stuff..

I liked going to a record shop on the corner of a sort of crossroads in Clapham. Was purely reggae but they were excellent. Shut down and moved on after those riots a few years back

Yeah really miss the old record shops...digging thru ,never knowing what you might come across..

Good one in Brighton called Resident...got loads of Vinyl in there old and new stuff..
