My very suggestion was considered. I'm a visionary.
Ascencion Island or St Helena.
It's been rejected as the cost would be too much but how much does it cost to house these scrounging fuckers in three star hotels for months ?
Not as far afield is St.Kilda, which is now uninhabited. The last 36 of them left in 1930 as it was too grim, which, if you've ever been to Dundee, is saying something. The island is 80 miles from the Jock mainland. High waves make it inaccessible for much of the year. And that far out in the Atlantic fucking nippy too.
That should make them think if it was worth it coming across the channel.
Wouldn't hold up much hope for the Gannets surviving for to much longer....
Good idea tho...once the Midges have got into them..they'd be begging and screaming to return home.... ..long way

Another scheme shelved was the creation of a wave machine in the channel.
It was thought that it would cause dinghies to capsize.
Watched some early daytime TV thing,basically bout all the dodgy fuckers around...
Story bout some bloke works as a Buyer for some small NHS unit ...has a credit card to use for purpose,was a bit naughty,
and was using it for Petrol,scratch cards,sandwiches etc...couple grand over a year or 2 if I recall right...
Got 12 Months Jailtime....
Next story...
2 Asian dudes.....somehow managed to link dodgy bank accounts to 2 old age pensioners bank accounts..and transfer
their Life savings of 80 and 90 Grand over......They wouldn't give details of how this was done,but appears they are
part of a gang that have/had found a loophole in banking system...
They got 24 months.....................suspended..with a little community service....
Just doesn't make any sense....jail a guy for a bit of small time fraud...and Practically let off Some big time gang
members ...hacking into OUR banking system....

I see the good old SBS have thwarted a mob of fucking Nigerian stowaways from highjacking a vessel ,there you go helicopter insertions on dinghies and canoes to stop the flotillas en route.
A nice training exercise for the Royal Navy.
