Here we go,another example of people doing the right thing and contributing to the known sum of knowledge.
Two ladies have been charged with defacing a statue of Captain Cook in Sydney,by spray painting the good captain because they found his
representational form unworthy of their approval.
When it was explained to them that Captain Cook succeeded in circumnavigating the world on his first voyage without losing a single man to scurvy, an unusual accomplishment at the time,they said "If I wanted a history lesson,I would have gone to the library..."
And it's that kind of response which begs the question - do we need more Captain Cook's...
