New variant, more lockdowns
Remember when the R Rate actually meant something
Those jumpers for goalposts have been moved more times than I've had hot dinners.

Why have they been moved? What reason?

Try spending some time to remember how the R Rate was going to free the nation.
It's not difficult if you choose the question the narrative.

Apparently a little shred of good news coming in the budget for us recently self employed who couldn’t get fuck all except JSA at start of this pandemic. Now I’m a part time employee though I bet I still get fuck all. Some might though.

This is the longest thread since EE and Woo went at it.
Longer even than the Macavennie “you’re all racist Cunts” thread .
And the BfS thread
None of them were a patch on the Blot thread!

Must have a forest of money trees growing somewhere
Don't worry, the normal working class people will pay for it.
That's what fucks me off more than anything Terry
I've been one of the fortunate during this shit fest, able to work from home and no impact.
I've got 1 friend who owns a freeehouse who is having to remortgage his home to keep his pub going, if it doesn't reopen as expected, he is fucked.
Another friend who was let go a few months in and hasn't been able to find another job.
Another friend who owns, what was a flourishing salon who is struggling to put food on the table and is getting to the point that they won't be able to reopen.
Where does the money come from to fix this mess.

But surely the fact that an 80 year old Asian granny can live 6 months longer makes his sacrifice worthwhile ?
