I've been one of the fortunate during this shit fest, able to work from home and no impact.
I've got 1 friend who owns a freeehouse who is having to remortgage his home to keep his pub going, if it doesn't reopen as expected, he is fucked.
Another friend who was let go a few months in and hasn't been able to find another job.
Another friend who owns, what was a flourishing salon who is struggling to put food on the table and is getting to the point that they won't be able to reopen.
Where does the money come from to fix this mess.
But surely the fact that an 80 year old Asian granny can live 6 months longer makes his sacrifice worthwhile ?

That Kansas senator who said something along the lines of "if it's only claiming the lives of the economically inactive, where's the issue ?" may have had a point.
