Yes mate..
And people were against moving on from this lot...they'll back down, they always do...UK will be right yet again,
and we'll have it moreorless under control, when they are still going into lockdowns, fuckin madness.
Also maybe Prob don't like that the Oxford/Astra are non profitmaking...and the others aren't...
What was funny with AZ trials were the reported side effects. Basically you divide your test pool of people into two halves. One half receives the vaccine and the other half an inert compound.
During that trial/test phase, 38% of people who had received the vaccine, reported some noticeable side effect. The other half of the trial, 28 % of people who had received an inert substance or placebo also reported side effects.
None of the side effects in any of the two groups were considered serious enough to disrupt production, distribution or use. And that intended security blanket covers most people.
Most people is not all people however, and even living an ultra careful life still involves some risk. Not even going to Church on Sunday will change that.
Read somewhere a while ago, that some doctors were thinking about, being allowed to actually prescribe a placebo,
(obviously a non starter tho)...cos of the effect it can have.
The action of actually taking something ,can trick the mind into positivity and creates endorphins, which creates a feelgood
factor, and can help someone feel better...emotionally and physically sometimes..
But would imagine it works both ways,if you wanted to take something to fix you...maybe a positive thing could happen.
But if you didn't want something or were taking something in a test, maybe the opposite could happen...
Dependent on your attitude and outlook on things..a positive type might go ..yeah I feel a little better...a negative sort
of person...would go, nah think I feel a little tired and headachy..
I'd prob say a third of us are the positive types..a third tend to be negative..the rest of us, the other third, somewhere in
the middle.....so the 38% of moaners feeling poorly...
.. is about right...
