And on that note, I enjoyed some Clams and Oysters in white wine last night. Going to try my hand at Shrimp Creole today.
You mean in the glass ?

Strange addition.
Nah mate, steamed in white wine, with garlic.

The shrimp creole was fantastic by the way. The wife also cooked red beans and rice with Andouille sausage, which was bloody nice.

You should have said. I had thoughts of you dropping raw seafood in your Sauvignon Blanc.

Andouille sausage ? Innards right ?

:x

Can't find a vomit emoji.

There is an oyster shot that does indeed involve a raw oyster.

The sausage is basically a smoked sausage with herb and spices, commonly used in cajun cuisine. We used the beef sausage and it is very nice mate.

Andouille sausage in France is made from lungs and intestines and smells foul.

If the Yank one isn't then it sounds lovely.

It is mate.

If and when I leave the States, the one thing I will really miss will be Louisiana cooking.

Indeed.

I spent 3 nights in New Orleans years back and the food was to die for.

I didn't have that but it wouldn't bother me. I remember having some fried soft-shelled crab dish with spices.

I'm getting a boner thinking about it.

Fuckin ends in sight at last,a lot sooner than I thought as well, had pretty much written most of this year off,was looking
at late Aug/September for any easing...but we could be up and running by July...
Worldwide Cases continue to drop ...so Holidays could be back on the cards as well...

Be then time to ask how the fuck this actually came about, and make sure it doesn't happen again...
China have a lot of questions to answer...also wanna know why we let it slip and had a surge in cases/deaths,was it the new
Variants or other reasons...people not adhering to lockdowns, like we did the first one,or something else.
Imperative we ask all the questions and learn from what happened.

So glad the end is in sight tho...can't wait to have a pub crawl again.. :D
