I don't mind him...not the buffoon he's made out to be....got to be PM of the UK...
But as Pm ,I really don't know..I wanted Hunt or Leadsome to be next leaders.
But from my personal view of Brexit,he's what we need,May was an appeaser, which doesn't work,
he's not.....
He's also big and strong enough to not give a fuck what our press/media say, which is good in my opinion.
Gonna win a few swing voters over who vote but don't give a shit about politics as well, which will be
handy for any future Election..

His probs gonna be within the Party/Cabinet ...there's a small minority, who really don't like him,
but they're replaceable ,he'll get in who HE wants..

Wont be Boring anyway.....

Announcement tomorrow. If Hunt wins then some serious jiggery-pokery has been going on.

Will he be good for the country ? Who knows. But he can't be worse than May. As for Hunt, he's just Theresa in trousers.

What I don't understand though for the life of me are the threats by maybe 6 Tory MP's to defect to the Lib Dems and bring down the government leading to Corbyn in No.10 by default. What's worse ? A no-deal Brexit or a Marxist regime ?

The former, which I hope doesn't happen, would take a couple of years to recover from in the worst case scenario. The latter about ten.

Just what is it that drives the likes of Hammond, Grieve and David Gauke on ? Why are they so fervently opposed to something that no-one can be sure of the repercussions.

As has been said many times. To suggest the public didn't really know what they were voting for is both insulting and disingenuous.

What really is their motive ? I'd love to know.

It might be disingenuous to say the public didn't know what they were voting for, but its equally a load of old cobblers to suggest they voted for no deal.
As for Johnson? He takes most of the things we negatively associate with politicians to the extreme. No principles, no loyalty, no scruples, no honesty, and an unshakable desire for power at any cost. Add that to incompetence and pinning the flag of populism firmly to the mast and that's a potent blend of useless Etonian cunt. You do wonder what the national version of the garden bridge will look (or rather not) look like.
Better than Corbyn? Who knows, but they're cut from the same cloth, ego above all else.
My opinion? It won't end well. :D

Basically we're going to end up with Trump (by proxy) as our PM.

If anyone can honestly and with a straight face convince me that Johnson is a fit and proper person to be the leader of this country then I'll...

Reminds me of another cheeky boy.Enjoys burping and farting loudly in company, smiling and a little wink and a little rub of the hair.

It looks like it's going to be 50/50 with resignations and that doesn't look good for anyone

Yeah same as..puzzles me,can usually suss motives out,or at least have a good educated guess...
anyway a few seats here and there wont make an iota of difference....overall control of
Parliament is prob a thing of the past....Tories only party to have a chance of that, and that's remote'
but that's on state of partys at moment....Nigel dispands his Brexit party after all the dust has settled
and before an election...The Tories walk it...Labour are done for..gotta reinvent...
New New really New Labour... cant see them getting 180/200 seats, they'll lose a lot of the inner city
seats North/Midlands to Libs/Independents these areas were big on brexit..

I can get us lot, the public being worried bout a no deal, and I get scaremongering from MPs/Press
etc..who want the referendum revoked...because "we didn't know what we were voting for".. :?
I think most of us went to school and can fuckin read, and see whats happening around us..
and make a decision..
But in the know MPs...that I dont get...

They're making decisions and statements on opinions not facts...
The Last thing the Euro bods need or want is to lose our trade etc...if they do they're fucked along
with us..we leave no deal...the Status quo would prevail,it's the only way..
My take on it was anyway...we'd crack on pretty much the same and "Slowly" let things take there
course...new Legislations being passed in Parliament,Negotiating new deals, thats agreeable
to everyone, benefiting everyone...even us being a gateway for Europe to trade across the world
easier...but somehow it all went tits up...MPs not adhering to a public vote...trying to overule,
which said before must never ever happen.....thats a dictatorship..

It's good to have passion and believe, but don't let it run away with you..to obsession, seems
to be happening with a lot of People..

I'm not making allegations but a lot of these arch-Remainers are MP's for constituencies that voted overwhelmingly to leave. Yet they ignore them.

Remainer in chief Tony Blair makes a fucking fortune out of globalisation. Maybe it's as simple as that.

Yes mate....that really pisses me off that one...it's across the house both side...are you an MP
for yourself or your constituents....cos an awful lot of people voted leave cos they have serious
genuine concerns about their area...

Blairs a Law unto himself....huge capitalist....sits well to the right of Thatcher politically, but
fooled every fucker into thinking he was a Socialist of some kind...but then again he's not on his
own in that....look at me i'm a trendy socialist crap....
