Who the fuck is being surprised by brown people representing England at sport?
I'm knocking on the door of 50 and as a kid I watched Daley Thompson, amongst others, at the Olympics. I saw Dennis Andries, Herol Graham, Lloyd Honeyghan, Frank Bruno and dozens of others box for Britain. I watched Viv Anderson, John Barnes, Luther Bissett, Des Walker and a host of others play football for England. In the Cricket there was Gladstone Small, Devon Malcolm, Phil Defreitas, Wilf Slack, Nasser Hussain, Mark Ramprakash, etc. Same for both rugby codes.
And to be honest I don't remember anyone being surprised back then. So wtf is going on now?
