Man Utd Fans

Post by Marco Boogers Boots »

I know a few Man Utd fans and have seen a fair few more on social media slating their style under Mourinho - in particular the FA Cup Final at the weekend.

They want go back to "the good old days" of swashbuckling football under Fergie. The only problem is, that is a myth. Yes, he had a couple of sides that used to sweep forward at pace but, from my memory at least, that was fucking years ago. One bone of contention seems to be the use of man-marking on Saturday because, according to the rose-tinted glass wearing Man Utd fans, Fergie never did it.

Which is of course, utter bollocks. I remember watching them play anti-football in the Manc derby with Ji-Sung Park doing a man-marking job on Yaya Toure not too long before Fergie finished.

They won two trophies last year (3 with the Community Shield) and finished second this season with a points tally that would win the title in many other years and still moan.

Cunts.

Indeed.

I overheard 4 of them talking about it in a pub in Taunton yesterday.

A team that picked up many supporters when they didn't lose much,a spoilt little boys team, who grow up slowly and turn into spoilt men.The deafening silence of sixty thousand spoilt strangers at Old Trafford is testament to that theory.COYI

For the biggest earning club in Europe, therefore world football, they should not be playing a pragmatic style of football.

Yes,It was acceptable at Chelsea, but not Man Utd.The thing is Mourinho was at Real Madrid and he played a dynamic style, because the fans would not except it any other way.He would have been sacked within a month.

Fergie played some fabulous football, but when he needed to dig in,his teams did.Mourinho seems to dig in every game. His way is to look at what the opposition offer and not what we can do to them. For some of the world class players he has, this is a bloody disgrace.

Yes he has will win trophies, but United has always been a club that has ALWAYS played good football,at least up to when Fergie left.

Under Busby,Docherty,Sexton and Atkinson, they always played an open game and that`s why where ever they played, they attracted the biggest crowds, even when they were not winning League Titles.
