What did we learn tonight

Post by kingmidas »

Noble even when brought on for only one half he has still not got the legsNordtveit is yet again so very very poor although he tries hardOgbonna, Reid and Cresswell seem to have zero understanding and there are gaps everywhere in the defence. Fernandes in time will be a very solid and energetic midfielder. We need a striker.Payet needs to be sold.Adrian is a very poor keeper. We lack pace in a big way.Obiang is class. We will miss Kouyate badly

Learnt what we have all suspected for a long time now. Apart from Reid and Noble next to none of our players have any heart.

1. Carroll alone up front doesn't work (fucking hell I feel like i'm writing lines on a blackboard with this one as with Antonio at RB).
2. A five man midfield with 4 attack-minded midfielders is unlikely to give your defence much support and looking at who Man City had in their midfield and attack you'd like to have thought this had been considered.
3. A five man midfield that refuses to press the ball won't be winning too much of the ball back.
4. We need the Samaritans or an 'agony aunt' in before each game and at half time to deal with our players who are......"like feeling like so low right now..........."
Fancy calling your only son "Barnestoneworth"
He's got another name....
Yeah....."United"

Did we actually learn anything we didn't already know? Despite the Chairmen's spin, it's pretty hard to challenge for Champions League places when two-thirds of the side are just about Championship quality. Honestly, it needs a fucking broom putting through the squad and starting over.

Adrian - Gone from being one of the best 'keepers in the league to pretty fucking crap.
Cresswell - What the fuck has happened to him? Been crap recently.
Ogbonna - Odd game where he looks assured and decent on the ball, the rest he's fucking scary crap.
Nordveit* - Newport County wouldn't even want him he's that crap.
Noble - Pulling no punches here. Brings nothing to the side either defensively or offensively, he's on the cusp of being as pointless as that crap Kevin Nolan.
Feghouli - Fucking crap.
Masuaku - Injured and pretty crap tbf.
Tore - Injured and complete and utter fucking crap. Easily one of our top 10 worst signings ever. *See also Nordveit & Zaza
Ayew - Having a beano in Africa and for the most part, £20 million quids worth of crap.
Carroll - Not injured but will be soon enough and largely crap.
Zaza* - Left the club apparently, but so crap even Tore thinks he's crap.
Calleri - Insignificant crap.

What he said, plus, another bad transfer window could see us relegated, which seems likely judging by the players we are being linked to.
