Personally I'd question a few of those picks. No Bonds, Dicks.

Swap James for Phil Parkes. Pearce was a great player but his best years were behind him with us. Dicks any day. Ince was also a great player although a bit of a cunt (less so than you'd believe), but his best days were after he left. Billy Bonds in there most definately.

Also Martin Peters. As a functional team you have what you need with Bonds, Brooking, Lampard and Joe Cole. Joe himself would be borderline instead of Devonshire.

I'd go for a poacher of a forward instead of Peters. Tony Cottee.

Maybe Peters For Brady(as not really a Hammer)but he was so bloody good.
and peters pissed me off once,referred to himself as an ex tots player in tv interview one time.

I was struggling with a midfielder as I didn't want ince and tbh I never really fancied lampard especially how he behaved when playing against us. There are so many players I could of picked but was trying to strike a balance. I like the Martin Moore bonds combo I also went more for the players I saw in action, other than Moore and hurst.
