Areola was brilliant, so happy for the lad, he deserves to be where he is after such a long time as second choice. MOM for me.

Second half was better than the first half by far, but as someone said, the result flattered us a bit. But who cares, i will take that any day over recents.

Second match I have watched this season ,totally agree Areola MoM kept us in it .Think Paqueta and Alvarez played some good stuff , really didn't see what all the fuss is about with Kudus must have caught him on a bad day . Emersion is better then I remember , but we need some talented CBs .

Didn’t see that coming. Agree with the Areola MOTM posts nd honourable mentions for Alvarez and Soucek who I thought were excellent. Still need to work on our game management though. All in all a better performance than Brentford imo. Hope it can be carried forward to Thursday in Germany.
