Looks like there could be another potential pile of brown stuff hitting the ventilation shortly over Everton's alleged breaking of FFP regulations. It seems the independent commission into the alleged breaches has already begun behind closed doors. Behind closed doors indeed. One has to wonder why.

Why else would it be held behind closed doors other than to enable large amounts of crap to be swept under a very big carpet.?
Is that a conspiracy theory you are spreading?
I won’t tell Terry.
It’s not what you do it is the way that you do it.

Indeed it is. But I'm sure you'll agree there's a big difference between this situation and Liverpool being awarded a dodgy penalty in full view of 60,000 or so spectators and a t v audience of millions.
Why Is There Only One Monopolies Commission. Isn't That A Monopoly?

Seems to be only those in the lower leagues that get punished.
Of course. Fewer resources to challengs any dodgy decisions through the legal channels. The conspiracy theorist in me thinks this is behind closed doors because the 3 relegated clubs last season have all said tghey will sue Everton if a guilty verdict is handed down. I suspect the authorities are absolutely brown trousering it at the moment because they wouldn't want an embarassing series of court cases.
Hence hold the hearing away from public scrutiny, leak the not guilty but watch your future conduct verdict and ride off into the sunset. Possibly with a mysteriously enlarged bank balance courtesy of an influx of funds from an obscure Cayman Islands bank account.
