I find it amazing that after last Sundays glorious victory there is still zero confidence in us getting anything in this match .
Don’t get me wrong , we are going to get fucking smashed , but it’s weird and I can’t quite put my finger on why ?

Aguerd is ball playing defender. His not use to playing the type of system Moyes deploys .In my humble opinion,I think his a top player that struggles with the game we play sitting back and if he was at a City or an Arsenal, yiu would see the very best of him .
If Aguerd was at City or Arsenal the only place you'd be likely to see him is sitting in the fucking stand because you sure as hell wouldn't see him on the pitch. The system can be blamed for failing to provide adequate supply and support to the front men but it can't be blamed for making a "ball playing defender" as you call him being bullied into schoolboy errors by Solanke at Bournemouth, losing defenders at Brighton and Palace leading to goals conceded and generally looking very shaky when the going gets a bit phusical.

He has some good attributes but they are not the attributes needed to be a PL standard central defender, ball playing or otherwise. He will continue to cost us goals until and if we find a role in the team for him where he can put his skills to better use imo. Can't remember who it was but someone on here not too long ago suggested a DM role for him which I thought sounded a decent call tbh. As that position is now filled maybe he could be deployed as a LB.
I am actually going agree with you, that he could be used in the Left back position. His got decent pace. That may just suit him and us.

Glorious victory maybe, but a glorious performance ? I suspect that is the reason for the lack of belief. On another day the penalty goes in and Chelsea coast to a comfortable win.

If we get the breakjs on Saturday who knows. If we don't a repeat of last year's debacle is on the cards.

We are 4 points better off than this stage last season.
We are equal on points from the equivalent fixtures last season.
We lost to Brighton away 4-0 last season.

Expecting a draw or a slightly less embarrassing defeat to last season.

No real secret to the outcome of this game, our manager will play not to lose and we aren`t good enough to do that, maybe just maybe a new signing will go renegade, do his own thing and snatch an undeserved winner.

rather play them away than at home but i expect a loss but not by a margin

25% posession bollocks, try to find a big bloke with your nut, free kick from 23 yards
Fuck Off Sully, Brady, Moyes. Killing this club by death from a thousand cunts.
