Forgive me for asking, or maybe for my memory loss but do people see like me that in past years we haven't always fared so well in pre seasons, occasionally we have, the latter quite often a prelude to a poorer season than we envisaged. But never in any of them do I ever recall the deep feeling of doom and gloom that this inept pile of shit called a manager has bestowed on us.

Friendly they maybe, and results aren't important, well depends on the results you are looking for. But I am sure all of us weren't looking for the recent results we have been served. We have gone downhill from that one miniscule moment of hope at the start of pre season to what we saw yesterday, and if the football was dire the attitude on field looked worse.

The scarey thing is, is that you are left wondering exactly when Sullivan is going to see where the problem is and act, and it feels like it will either be never or too late.

Has H69 been on yet? He/she probably went, so it's view is the only one that matters.

The club have said McFuckwit will be in charge at Bournemouth. 'We wouldn't look to make a change on the back of friendlies'.

In itself a bland comment but the fact they've been forced to say it shows they know the shit is hitting the fan before the season even starts. The powers that be, even ones as clueless as ours, know he's a dead man walking.

Up until yesterday I still thought the club should back the cunt. And if JWP was his main target they should go and get him. But Steidten he say no. The manner of yesterday, admittedly a friendly, was a 'stick your fucking tactics up your arse' message to the manager from most of the players. And overnight there's news that the hook-nosed vermin filth are looking to jump in and beat us to Ward-Prowse.

Good. They'll have done us a favour. And I'm more hopeful than ever now that the last knockings of the McFuckwit regime are being measured in days, not months. A defeat plus an absolute shellacking in the first two should do the trick. It should have been done the moment Steidten walked through the door but hopefully it can still save our season.

Moyes is in his bunker. Bombs are destroying the building and enemy troops are advancing street by street. He won't fall on his sword but it's the end game. He'll be dragged out blaming everybody but himself to face the music. The trial for 'crimes against football' will be very swift.

Thanks for the memories Bugsy, now fuck off.

We haven't even got a captain that can go to speak to the chairman to say these tactics are not working and the players are not enjoying it either.
I do believe it was said last season by the players, but it was also believed that Moyes was leaving at the end of the season. It was notable our performances seemed better when that was said. Many of the players thought at last there is light at the end of the tunnel and we will see a different style when the new manager comes in.Hence,he we are,he is still here and it's the same depressing tactics. No wonder the players heads are down.

I get what you are saying, but I think the players would have to be pretty naive to think that Moyes would change a habit of a life time. And again still if they didn't already know Rice would be leaving.

Yes Rice played more defensively in the latter stages, but that only served Moyes own game plan. I put any change we saw down to the CL cause we didn't see much of a continuance inbetween the games, just scratching out results. A glimmer that soon faded.

Maybe they are like us, or how we once were, only theyhave to listen first hand to the BS Moyes tells them, and holding on to a JUST MAYBE, a just maybe that never happens. We now know better and they too probably.

Pre season results are rarely a guide to what will happen when the real stuff starts but Saturday;s performance was different.

What I saw was a collection of players who didn't want to be out on that pitch and didn't want to be wearing the West Ham kit. And can anyone blame them ? There are rumours of massive friction between the ownership, the manager and the new Director of Football. Players are literally on strike because they want out, apparently on some social meadi outlets fans are turning on each other in a frenzy of finger pointing and handing out who's to blame awards. The whole shit show is a fucking mess.

My mate who bunged a large wedge on WHU to be relegated at 14-1 with Bet 365 last week knew what he was doing imo. Those odds are now down at 9-1 and likely to fall further imo. I expect a serious battering at Bournemouth on Saturday and, in all probability looking at our firstr six fixtures, a "nul points" tally after 6 games.

It said a lot when the opposition realised very early doors that they didn't have a lot to beat and may as well had a kick about themselves in an empty ground.
I know it was only a friendly, but there's a helluva lot more going on behind the scenes that we are in the dark about.
Everyone's got there own theories, but I have to admit I'm absolutely baffled by it all.

I’m genuinely not one to abandon all hope - especially as the whistle against Bournemouth hasn’t even been blown yet - but, oh for the love of all things holy, that has left me feeling as dismal as the feckin’ weather. I was thinking back to the “glamour” final preseason games of previous years. In the sunshine, full of optimism and excitement ….. ok, so I knew I was going to have it all crushed over the course of the season, but at that moment all was rosy in the claret and blue garden. Today though …. FFS. That abysmal display of ineptitude and indifference has left me feeling dejected already. All I can hope is that everything going on is a massive display of smoke and mirrors to lull Bournemouth and the rest of the League into thinking we haven’t an effing clue what we are doing (and Dr SulliStein has secretly been cloning Haarland in a lab at PornTowers). I’ll join you in your rant Geo!

The body language of every single one of those players out there yesterday was screaming "fuck this for a game of soldiers".

True, and to add to that, they haven't exactly got any competition for their places.
