Just watched Geo’s video from after the game …. I couldn’t have put it better. Worried? That’s not a strong enough word. I’m genuinely not one to abandon all hope - especially as the whistle against Bournemouth hasn’t even been blown yet - but, oh for the love of all things holy, that has left me feeling as dismal as the feckin’ weather. I was thinking back to the “glamour” final preseason games of previous years. In the sunshine, full of optimism and excitement ….. ok, so I knew I was going to have it all crushed over the course of the season, but at that moment all was rosy in the claret and blue garden. Today though …. FFS. That abysmal display of ineptitude and indifference has left me feeling dejected already. All I can hope is that everything going on is a massive display of smoke and mirrors to lull Bournemouth and the rest of the League into thinking we haven’t an effing clue what we are doing (and Dr SulliStein has secretly been cloning Haarland in a lab at PornTowers). I’ll join you in your rant Geo!
