When did West Ham fans become happy

Post by 9898 »

...with playing like 1980s Wimbledon?

I hate watching us hoof the all forward playing for corners.
I hate the fact we pick players just because they're over 6 foot.
I cringe when I hear commentators state that we are only dangerous from set pieces.

Sad state of affairs
"Mum. I've wet the bed again."

That’s a true assessment but to be honest it’s not THAT bad . Predictable yes but not an unattractive style .
It ain’t like watching the shit that Allardyce served up .

But at risk of saying the same old Thing all the time , which we allllll tend to do , it’s the inability to change a game when we need to and manage a game when leading that gets my goat .
It’s not a told you so scenario here but it’s not knee jerk either , I’ve been saying it for months , the farcical January transfer window endorsed my opinion and last night was the final straw.
Bring back Jonathon !

You are right Newmarket, but I don’t think it is time for Moyes to go. His exploits over the last 2 and half seasons has earned him the right to correct the mistakes from this season.

Tbh I have really enjoyed this season, the win over Liverpool was the highlight for me, the atmosphere against Seville at home was up there with anything from Upton Park.
It’s not what you do it is the way that you do it.

Can it really be that bad?

We have scored 4 goals away from 4 times this season..Tell me,when we last did that?

Only 4 teams have scored more than us.

Harry Redknapp's exciting side that got 5th and only scored 46 Goals..We have already got 57,with 2 to go.

Actually in our last 2 seasons, they have been our highest in PL History. If we don't concede have an 11 goal swing,it will only be the second time we have had a positive goal difference in PL history.

I am 100% happy of West Ham this season and last season since for a long time from late 1990s and mid-1980s.

West Ham will have 2nd season in a row that we got POSITIVE GOAL DIFFERENCE in AWAY games whereby, we only had 3 positive GD in away matches in 1926-27 - 36 goals to 34, 1985-86 - 26 goals to 24 and 2015-16 with 31 goals to 25.

Moyes has transformed us from relegation battle to European battle and that is MASSIVE ACHIEVMENT giving that we spend very little in the market.

I thanks you Sir

Just out of interest, what players had Moyes signed that are over 6ft and are not Goalie or CB?

I can think of only Soucek, or you expecting us to play midgets in goal or CB.

Fuck me what a twat.
