Wouldn’t be surprised if Moyes will revert to a back 5.
Then Kostic makes sense, as you can’t play Masuaku or Fornals as a lwb as Moyes tried last year.
The quickness of Aguerd gives Moyes some more options on the left, if he signs Kostic it allows us to change formation with more competent players. Last year was mostly a disaster when we tried the back 3 with wingbacks.
The ex-fuhrer on this site has done another Youtube thingy titled 'Scamacca and Kostic...a lethal partnership'. I didn't watch it but I'm sure it's full of the wide-eyed Christmas morning opening prezzies glee that Gonzo usually imparts.
Why the fuck did you have to do that Kris ?
It's like Neville Chamberlain getting off that plane in 1939 waving a letter of peace from Adolf ffs.
Us Hammers are by nature pessimists. We have to be because of the almighty fuck-ups boards across the decades have foisted on us from lack of investment following the occasional good season (Cottee/McAvennie & the fat frog one) to the Omoyinmi affair. And after two good but not great seasons under the lemur I'm fearful of the same.
Although the Mancunian street rat's loss is no loss imo, I'm not counting any chickens yet. Neither Scaramanga or Kostic have signed. In fact the latter is some way off and some reports claim the Italian is waiting for someone bigger to step in even though his club have agreed terms.
So come on. Let's have some good old glass half empty news. It makes the disappointment more palatable.
Thought we were trying to lower the age of the starting eleven bring in fresh blood , yet old bugeyes thinks bringing in a 30 year old LB ( that's how old he will be when it gets a start ) who has had more injuries, illnesses , aches and pains then bloody Dyer .
Raum or even Sosa are the way forward .

Raum has said no thanks. Don't know about Sosa.
I haven't looked at Kostic's injury record tbh but being 30 is not a hindrance for speed. Look at Vardy, still like shit off a shovel at 78. It's just that Cresswell is unusually slow for an athlete. But he's a way off signing for us just yet.
We're also looking at the young Leicester left-back Luke Thomas who'd cost 20m but whatever happens, having no other addition there after September 1st is just asking for trouble. Any other manager would see Longelo as a preferred option should push come to shove but not our lemur.
