He hasn't gone far. Still looking in but, tbh, it's gone a bit dead on here recently. Seem to be quite a few posters who don't visit anymore.
I needed a rather large tumbler of southern comfort to sustain the warm glow during that second half. And then one became two and I received a bit of a sharp look on the third...
"Southern Comfort " was my favourite tipple during the 70's definitely brings back a warm glow , now JD is my drink of choice .

I used to drink brandy, but stopped when I was 6.
Since those early days I've progressed on to turpentine, antifreeze and eventually on to industrial strength drain cleaner, mixed with brasso. Trust me Tel, it's the way forward.

Brandy is a tipple for girls and cross-dressers my learned friend. At my club, the Taunton Old Conservatives, we sit in the lounge in our dinner jackets arguing over foreign policy and if asylum seekers should be deported or executed when Lamonsby brings the tray of brandies.
Petherington-Smythe takes one but he's always had the rumour of the Grand Old Duke of York tendencies. The rest of us will only take from the second tray which is a Courvoisier with Cuprinol mix.

A fine addition indeed sir.
I've tried to introduce whisky to the finer arts, brush cleaner, rat repellent etc, but I fear all is lost. He's obviously on the turn and probably a secret transgender snowflake with a tendency for Morris dancing.
I shall persevere though, with the Bollinger and lighter fluid mix, but one can only go so far, I'm afraid.
