Can you tell me any other club in the PL whose Manager has said similar to this about having to sell their best players?

Sully's eyes would have lit up when he realised the positive equity he has in these two players. Total cost for both excluding wages was around £17M. Value of both players... easily £120M, possibly more considering that I'm hard pushed to think of a better DM duo in any league anywhere in the world at the moment, which means when they are sold we've absolutely no chance of replacing them with anyone remotely comparable.
We'll sell Rice and Soucek and replace them with Lundstram (free) and after a lot of "Oh so close" marque nearly signings, Isaac Hayden for something stupid like £25M. It's just all so predictable. We'll go from a top 6 pushing team to the usual relegation candidates within the space of 12 months.

I have no doubt at all, with the amount of stories about Rice that keep materialising in the papers, our beloved board are indeed trying to cash in on our prize asset.
Even if Declan wasn't injured, I have a sneaky suspicion the thyroid would be getting a call from tallboy asking him not to play him.
Add a few calls to the scotch cunt at sky to circulate the fact that they're open to offers ( due to the pandemic) and voila! Job done. We'll see Declan lining up against us next season!
They don't want Europe, it'll cost them too much ( the cunt moaned at a trip to Everton in the cup ffs! Imagine if we made Europe, they'd have to delve in to the transfer market and that goes against the grain.
