Yes, you're right.
But we've spent 30 years being practically ordered to not forget Hillsborough. And as tragic as that was the blatantly pro-dipper media (except the Sun) conveniently sweep the former under a carpet.
The media have a lot to answer for. As you remember, better than most of us no doubt for the personal reasons you've explained , the English press at the time of Heysel were all about criticising UEFA for their choice of venue rather than the behaviour of fans. Let's be honest a lot of English, fans, particularly those following the national team, were nothing better than scum, but the press would usually look to excuse their behaviour. In fact even some sections of the media tried to blame the Thatcher government, and the introduction of fences, for Hillsborough rather than criticise fan behaviour.
I suppose it's symptomatic of the English disease. Far easier to blame someone else than look in the mirror.

Thought poor old Gary Lineker was going to shed a tear when I watched the highlights this morning.
Fuck 'em, absolutely despise them.
They couldn't wait to ram it down everyone's throats at how good they were last season, and they were of course, but to see that cunt Robertson squirming along with Henderson and Arnold is a sight to behold.
Fat Frank was absolutely spot on when he put Klopp down for giving it the biggun, not that Frank hasn't a few times mind

Back to the Football.....Henderson makes them tick, he's a Rice Plus ,he enables them to do what they do...losing all
their CBs and having to play him there done for them...losing Jota was big as well.

Liverpool have been average for the last 12 months and this year they don't have a huge lead to squander. It doesn't help when nobdody respects you anymore and you lose 4 games at home consecutively.
It just makes our recent home defeat more and more unnecessary.

When you're tripped or fall,the natural reaction is to put your arms down to break and protect your fall,is why people
often get broken wrists in a fall...when you plan a dive you throw your arms up first,knowing you have time to get them
