Moyes: "I want a player with pace"
Sullivan: "I've signed Edin Dzeko for ya Dave"
Sullivan: Heres Ian Rush for ya Dave
Moyes: For the backroom?
Sullivan: No, striker, he has scored 254 career goals and has pace.
Moyes: That says pace maker Dave
Sully will want him to play Afolayan now instead of buying someone

You could be right mate. The more I watch Benrahma the more he looks like a player who has come to the attention of mini dwarf during his sessions with FIFA 2021 on the PS.
Why Is There Only One Monopolies Commission. Isn't That A Monopoly?
...on the strength of a 4-0 win over a league one team
The C&H article had this bit in it which to me makes it glaringly obvious we ain’t getting anyone. “ Today will have had him optimistic that in goal scorer Oldapo Afolayan and with Mipo Odubeko soon to available hopefully he can get through a season where relegation is not an issue.”
Says it all really. As long as we ain’t fighting relegation our beloved board members can relax and count their pennies.
The young lad coming on and scoring after 8 minutes together with Yarmalenko doing ok as a striker will have had the stumpy little shitcunt purring with delight. A money-making trip to drive-by shooting land and the thought of putting the cheque book back in the top drawer he can't reach in any case.
And we played well. It was one of the few games I've watched. But we should not be ignoring the fact that it wasn't a full strength Donny team either. Even some lower league clubs don't take the cup seriously now if they're concentrating on promotion.
We still desperately need a striker. Anthony Michael's hammy is as reliable as the bodywork on a 1985 Skoda.
But I'm sure we'll be active on deadline day.
As the clock ticks closer to 11pm it's over to Karveh Solekhol at the Iconic London Stadium. Karveh. What have you got for us ?
Jim. Breaking news. I'm hearing that a deal to bring an un-named striker from abroad is very close. And that the player in question, who I can't reveal, is having his medical as we speak. Personal terms have been agreed and it's just a question of the medical and getting the transfer registered in time.
So there you have it. Exciting news for Hammers fans. Don't go to bed. As soon as we hear that Samuel Eto'o has signed on the dotted line we'll........Shit. I've given it away. Sorry Karveh.
