Good win even if winning ugly.

Shows what I know about football I thought we would get spanked as they had the extra days off.

Not a great game but fuck it these are the type of games we got nothing from in the past. Away from home, at Everton, held them off for a well earned draw and nicked it at the end. All three points, first premier league goal of the season, Antonio got to play arbeit for a short period. I will take that today

All these points without a proper striker is nothing short of a miracle, imagine what we could do with a half decent striker. Pretty solid again and a piece of luck, but who gives a shit. whufc_crest

Whilst not a classic I don’t think we were that bad, defended excellent and played some decent stuff at times. Well happy with that.

Great result against Massive bogey team, resilient defending, 86min
Winner, should have been 2 but poor finishing from Antonio, souchec is best signing in a very long time, benny just not all that at the moment.
Oggy is awesome.

In short we are playing great and losing and playing average and getting a result ..well pleased.

That’s precisely the sort of game we used to lose. Once again Ogbonna & Dawsonwere outstanding at the back. Whatever anyone thinks about Moyes no one can deny we are making progress. Imo we are a long way from being a good side but we are becoming a side good teams won’t like playing against.

The “old” West Ham would probably have moaned about 3 games in six days and bent over for a shafting. We have played some crap games this season , also some good ones of course, but we haven’t been turned over badly in any game this season. That is real progress.

Shame we haven’t got the funds to bring in the three or four players we need to transform us into a regular Europa League challenger.
