Used to come here quite a bit but noticed lately hardly no one posts now. Whats happened to everyone who used to come ? Used to be some decent posters on here but they dont seem to come no more and i was wondring why this is. Anyone got ideas ?

No names no pack drill but Most are just bored and fed up with Numbers and his bull ....
And Gonzo and Redhammer’s absence is another reason thrown in too though to a lesser extent .

I’ve pm’s from posters actually asking if it’s MY site ffs .

All I can do is keep an eye on the place as the few regulars we still have , bless ‘em , moderate themselves .

A lot less traffic on here lately,but is always my first port of call,when I surf the net.

Between Hammersmad & Hammerschat,I've been on here nearly 15 years.I see it has part of a family on here.

It does seem a pity that the boys that run the site,hardly turn up either.

Can’t say I disagree with much of that mate .

Trouble I have is that as moderator here there are certain rules I (and you lot) have to abide by.
There ain’t many of em at all , this site is the most liberal and uncensored of em all , and you can all get away with pretty much anything here .

So I can only warn or ban people when the break those rules .
Numbers does occasionally and gets a holiday when he does . Eventually it’ll be a permanent ban as it’s just a matter of time ... then he’ll just re-register as a new user probably using a vpn and it starts all over again.

As for the other two herberts , the old school posters here were part of the aforementioned Hammers mad forum along with them both and feel that if they can’t be bothered or are not interested now you tube stardom has arrived then there’s not a lot of point in continuing as it is as it’ll never be as good as it once was (if that makes sense ?).
That’s not my view by the way though I know it’s factor for others.
My personal view is that the Gonzo trusts me to oversee the day to day moderating of the forum whilst he is elsewhere , otherwise he’d be here himself .

My advice to everyone is this .

Ignore Numbers completely. I know it’s not easy to ignore the provocation but it’s the reactions Trolls feed off.

To the absentees , come back you Cunts , I’ve told you often enough , you can still use the WhatsApp groups for your porn & politics , come here for your football.

To the lurkers and guest users , register if you haven’t already , and contribute to the forum. Let’s get it back to former glories .

I moved away from Blackburn many years ago and as a result I rarely got to watch them live even before the virus hit. I can't lie that the lack of the matchday experience had a profound effect on my passion as a fan. I still regard myself as a Rover but am I really a true fan anymore?
The site figures dwindling has correlated with the virus.You lose the passion of the live experience and you lose interest in general. Add to that the many that were already disillusioned with the owners before the virus and it was inevitable that there would be a decline in traffic.
If/when normal matchdays resume I would expect the site usage to be bolstered.

I don’t agree with that PW tbh as I know personally too many of the people that are currently giving the forum a wide berth , but it’s certainly a factor with regards passing traffic and match day experience.

You're angry because I called out the mods for being USED like two bit whore by the owners of this site. You was bought on as it was 'a site for friends' ...... but the friends who pulled you in don't answer the phone anymore.

I'll still stick up for you and say that there is no need to be embarrassed as many on here were sucked in by them. Obviously I wasn't and called there scheme - use this site to create a social media business - from day one.

They fooled a lot of people with the 'friends' line and now people realise.
Many posters - Garnett, Black Diamond, Brookbond - are constantly having digs about them as they see through it but are toom polite to say it outright.
