At reg speed it didn’t look like a pen, but on review, Robertson took a wild swing to clear the ball, Welbeck touched the ball first and Robertson caught nothing but his foot. I’d say that’s a pen!

Imo VAR is becoming a right royal fuck up. Technically it was a penalty because Robertson brushed the Brighton player's boot. In many ways very similar to the one Benrahma conceded against Fulham.

A clear and obvious error not to award it it wasn't. Again the same as the Benrahma one. Give the Premier League a couple more sseasons tinkering with how VAR is interpreted and they'll truly fuck up the golden goose.

it's there purely and simply to make the game more dramatic for the TV audience...it's working...

I don't cheer when we score anymore at home or at ground,before was quick glance at ref pointing,lino flag down...done..

now have a 30second sometimes 2 minute wait...it's totally screwing the game up..taking away so much enjoyment.

Same. Only cheer now after goal is confirmed but the cheer now is about 80% diluted. Killing the game. Especially with the 3 minute decisions on what’s supposed to be “clear and obvious”
