No one has yet given a coherent argument why this is a bad thing for football.

and you havent given one for or against. You are probably disappointed cause you got nothing to give an opposing response.

Tell us yours please.

Do some research..It`s all about the big 6 taking control and making even more money. They want to turn it into a cartel.

PL at 18 is great. Get rid of the Norwich, Fulham types who come up with no real intention of moving on, just a quick money snatch.
Get rid of the ridiculous League Cup and Charity Shield.
Taking power away from the PL.

That's just for starters.

How does losing 2 Clubs and playing 4 PL games less enable them to help the EFL,and be the fucking saviours of
our National game...
They can help the EFL and the Pyramid system as it stands at the moment, very easily...
Ulterior motives here...do they really think we're all fuckin stupid

They'd prob like a 10 team League 36 games and they can all play with each other 4 times...

Reducing the League to 18 with the Big 6 having a casting vote on all future constitutional matters means they are effectively ending promotion and relegation. It starts by going down to 2 teams but after that its a simple voting matter for 6 clubs to make it one and then none. Rugby have been trying to do this for a couple of years

Its the Yanks wanting the franchise system - all upside, no risk.

The cups and less games is reducing the English League calendar to make room for Asian and US hosted tournaments to make more cash

There are some merits to binning the League Cup but I think the format this season has actually been better. Having it week after week. They should do that again until the semi's and then have a finals weekend at Easter.

Just to add - giving the Big 6 the ability to have special status includes the ability for them to veto the sale of any other member club. Just think about that for a second. It would have meant that the top 6 teams at the time could have banned Abramovic from taking over at Chelsea

David....It's Rick Parry. There's a lovely little earner for you personally if you support it.

Where do I sign Rick ? Can someone get me a stool so I can reach ?
