Where's all these bargain players you promised would be available after the virus?
Remember you said clubs wouldn't spend and player values will fall.
Let me tell you:
Chelsea spent lots.
Ben Chillwell went for £50 million.
Leeds spent £60 million and have bid of over £20 million in for ben White.
Everton spent £25 million on Alan and after Rodriguez and Dacourie.
Aaron Ramsdale went for £20 million. Goalkeeper from relegated team.
Wolves have bids in for plpayers totalling £70 million.
record transfer window spend incoming.
Over 5 weeks of transfer window left.
Admit your reactive mistake with the silly predictions that the transfer window would never be the same and clubs had no money.
GET THAT BEE OUT YOUR BONNET SON.
For a starters,Chilwell didn`t go for that price..That is a fact.Ben is a full England International and he cost less than what Man U payed for a non International full back.,who is of similar age.
Chelsea had a lot of money, because of their transfer ban over 2 years and sold Hazard for over a £100 million. They brought Werner for way below his value.
Leeds have spent under £28 million, not £60 million. When you compare this to the £150 million,Villa spent last year.
Ramsdale was £18 million, which is peanuts for a decent young Goalkeeper..
Wolves haven`t sold ANYONE.
All these transfer fees would have been a lot more expensive if it wasn`t for Covid 19.
I said the big teams will always be able to buy big, while the others will spend £20 million max on a player..Last year,we spent £45 million on a player..Nobody apart from Big 6,will do that..Let`s see if United and Liverpool spend £80 million on a player this year, like they have the past 3 years?I doubt very much they will.
Looks like you will have to redraw your statement until after window.
