In other words, it has run it's course.
That's dictated by social media and what the "influencer's" decide is worthy. On Monday something is "important" and "edgy" and a month later is deemed naff and stale. It's a funny phenomena but people seem to think more about what others are thinking than backing their own thoughts.
And social media amplifies this and accelerates the latest fashionable position to adopt
I know that a massive majority of Footballers are against "Taking the Knee",but it would create so much hassle.Firstly from the PC media,then some of their black colleagues.that will upset Team spirit too.

Sorry Terry but that's bollocks. I'll take your word for it that you "know" the massive majority are against it, but if that is the case then those who disapprove of it should fucking well man up and refuse to participate.
What do you think would happen if they did ? Would their employers send them home without pay ? No, contract law would stop them doing that. Would they suspend them ?. No, because they'd need their services for the next game. Would a black teammate suddenly decide a white player refusing to make the gesture had suddenly turned into a card holding member of the KKK ? No because he'd still be the same bloke he was the previous day who treats his black teammates the same way he treats the whit ones.
If a person feels strongly enough about any issue they should do exactly what their conscience tells them. And if that means half the team taking the knee and the other half staying on their feet so be it. It's called having your own mind as opposed to being a fucking sheep.
