In all seriousness Danny Rose would be a huge upgrade on what we have at present. And possibly available pretty cheap which will appeal. A far more sensible target than Tarkowski imo.
And as FIFA have ordered a payment of £5.2 million to Frankfurt for the Haller deal the key word in that sentence is
cheap
Not so sure he would be a huge upgrade anymore , he was poor during his time at Newcastle , averaging less than one interception per game and committing one foul per match too. Aside from his questionable defending, Rose didn’t offer much going forward, failing to pick up a single goal or assist, and registering a measly 0.3 key passes and 0.2 crosses per game.

Danny fuckin Rose is a silly little gobshite who don't like the game. That prob means he's perfect for us but I'll be really fucked off if we get him

So, the Messiah has said he expects two signings this week.
I doubt if I'll be able to take my eyes off the TV.

Some rumblings linking us to Joao Mario. I'd happily have him back to be honest and would be a bit miffed if he ended up at Newcastle or Lids.

Agree with that. Good player while he was with us before but do we need another midfielder ? And if we did bring him in would it reduce the funds available for bringing in a couple of fit for purpose full backs ?

From the 'two signings this week' a couple of days ago, the Messiah has said he'd like 3 or 4 but accepts that there's no money for them.
Obviously the money earmarked for Tarkowski has been stolen.

That may be a plan to put him in MF and move Rice to CB. Moyes has mentioned it before.
