You seem intent on pushing this point numbers, despite the furlough scheme still being active, therefore clubs are paying next to nothing towards their staff/players wages (except for the richer clubs that can afford to).
During August / September employers need to pay gradually more towards their furloughed staff wages but the majority is still covered by the government. So of course there hasn't been a rush of clubs going bust, why would they?
Outside of the Premier League there are very few clubs that can survive without fans in the ground. If fans aren't allowed to flock back next season then many clubs will be in trouble once the furlough scheme ends.
Trouble is mate some people cant see passed the PL...sky/bt and all that, football for them stops outside of it,they
have no idea how important the "Smaller" sides are to people and their communities..
Some of these sides, well most now, would imagine are really up against it.....prob being forced to lay people off,
groundsmen to tea ladies,,who's life revolves around their footie club....sad days for a lot....
Pl Clubs will never go bust or even struggle....everyone knows that....called TV money,Spuds most be deep in it,yet
can still find 15 mill for a player....and Joe Hart.....
