Is anyone actually missing football?

Post by punkrockhammer »

Seriously, I’ve hardly thought about it, let alone miss it

I honestly think you need to have more in your life if you’ve pined for watching a bunch of overpaid ponces boot a bag of air around for an hour and a half and possibly have to work out why some helmet in an office miles away has decided to rule out a goal out due to a long pube or not award a red card because it doesn’t help Liverpool

I could get used to this tbh

Come on a FOOTBALL website, taking time to write a forum post, to tell everyone you're not missing football.
Hmmm, strange.

I miss actually watching the West Ham games and the build up on here and other sites .

But as I refuse to watch Sky I don’t saturate myself with all the “sky 6” bollocks that they spout incessantly.

I’m currently watching streams of the Belarusian premier league .

I think there are more clubs in Minsk than there are in London
Bring back Jonathon !

Surprisingly, no.

I’m getting more enjoyment telling my bindipper mate that this season will be either null and void, or forever have an asterisk beside it.

Of course I am. Same as I'm missing going to the pub at the weekend, going out for a meal with Mrs W and friends, going to the movies, to the shops, and all the other things that normally make up a week's activity.

In the overall scheme of things football is fuck all, but it's part of the normal routine. Or at least what used to be the normal routine.

Agree.
Quicker we all get back to normal the better. Unless this is the new normal.
Just like my dreams they fade and die.
But on the positive side..............
