Leicester City vs West Ham United Official Match Thread

Post by Ibbyham »

As expected to be a different game for BOTH side with Leicester having 1st team back and will be licking their lip as we are West Ham with the cunt owners. West Ham will have Moyes in charge than the clown Audrey and hopefully West Ham will be on their best. Hope Zabaleta will be ok and whether West Ham will have a new right back but time is running out as no news which frustrated me. Not sure if Anderson will be ready but hopefully at the bench and 1% chance of Antonio to make the squad.

Squad:

Randolph

Zabaleta
Diop
Ogbonna
Cresswell

Snodgrass
Noble
Rice
Fornal

Lanzini

Haller

All I hope West Ham will give a good performance.

due to Anderson and Antonio injury but Anderson should be ok for the Leicester game so Moyes probably may put him on the bench

And why was Fornals hooked for Masuaku ? Surely more sensible to hook Lanzini and move Fornals into his best position.

Can't see Noble being available , or Snodgrass doing well if he starts unless he has one hell of a recovery , and can see Zabs looking like he is in slow motion if he plays .

Leicester have only won two of their last seven.

We're going to smash 'em

If I was setting up a side to play against Leicester I'd turn the clock back to the 70s and play a sweeper to try to nullify the threat of Vardy which, imo, is all Leicester really have. They've also got Ndidi in midfield who. imo, is quality and the type of player we sadly lack but their main threat , at least in an attacking sense, is Vardy's pace and finishing ability.

Problem is who the fucking hell would I play there ?

Don't see us getting too much joy tbh. They've still pretty much got the defensive set up Puel introduced with Soyuncu replacing Maguire which imo has actually improved them and Brendan hasn't really had long enough to screw them defensively. ;)

Unfortunately I can see a 2-0 on the horizon.
