Never noticed before but look at the man on the far right of their wall (No,2 I think)...he stares back at the goal almost doing a double-take as he cant believe its gone that high over his head and then in!!!

I miss him
I’ve missed him every match day since he left
Lanzini misses him more, he made him look decent and got him contracts
I think the two best moments for me were the goal against Blackburn where he beat their entire midfield and defence and the rabona to set up Antonio to score
How often have we witnessed a bit of skill like that at West Ham, let alone it led to a goal aswell?
I have followed West Ham for nearly 50 years now(Chelsea H,September 1971).
We have very few memorable seasons in that time tbh,but there are a few that stand out though.
1975,1980,1981,1986,2006 and 2016.
The Payet Season...We beat some of the very best ,especially away from home.Payet's injury,putting him out for 3 months cost us a CL place and we were robbed by United at Old Trafford in the FA Cup Quarter Finals.One of the most memorable.Whatever anyone`s says,one of the greatest players to put the West Ham shirt on.
