The official VAR thread

VAR...what the fuck is all that about?
You can't even tackle now. Someone said to me "oh it'll bring all the skillfull players out" which is true in some respects, but if you can't tackle what's the point.
It's fucked.
A keeper can't come off his line?. Good luck with policing that one.

So much for stopping the is it, isnt it....from what I saw yesterday,it's still about opinions and
judgement calls,So might as well leave it up to the bloke that's in charge of decisions..The Ref...

Could be a good thing, but as the whole idea is for the TV Audience..Dramatic effect...and not
for the benefit of Football...it's gonna cause more arguments than it solves..

When we do eventually score... one game,I Know......gonna be hesitant to cheer cos will be
looking at screens to see if we have scored or not, great for the Neutrals...crap for the hardcore fans..

Gotta get used to it spose tho...

Maybe should be used after a game, and things reviewed..such as the deliberate targeting of Wilshere
by City yesterday..

Personally I think looking at a fucking blank screen over the football tedious
However watching us meekly collapse as per usual was worse.

Watching us having tummy tickled is fucking horrible

City a masterclass but fuck me we are whipping boys at times.

And was the ground so quite yesterday ? Only heard any noise when VAR cancelled the third goal

It’s bollocks

No decisions were ‘clear and obvious’, which is what it was supposed to be about

I can see this season being another that erodes my interest in football

We had a cunt of a ref yesterday, the amount of fouls Citeh done in the first half, he should have booked at least one player. Var won’t stop refs being useless.
It’s not what you do it is the way that you do it.

Morning,
As much as I despised Blatter he resisted bring in VAR saying it was taking the human error element out of the game, I agree with that despite thinking the officials need help, but yesterday goals was awarded and cancelled out because an arm was offside, how in gods name is that gaining an advantage, common sense isn't allowed in fifa.
I`m gradually falling out of love of the game.
