We're sorting it albeit slowly.

Massive thanks to Taans & Newmarket who I can see have deleted hundreds of accounts between them.

Particularly nice to see that Newmarket is calling everyone a cunt in the security log

Geo has just deleted another 100 of the bastards so we're getting there.

However if anyone does need any viagra please do let me know

Can be bought straight over the counter at Boots.

do we know if they had access to the database?

if so I would encourage everyone who uses their hammerschat password elsewhere to update their passwords, at least on important/sensitive sites

as for website security make sure you're using the latest version of the forum and only install plugins that are properly vetted.. the less the better

I don’t think it was ‘hacked’ per se, they just knew a way around the captcha and joined up approx 250 different accounts.

If we had been hacked, it would still be happening but just by clicking a different option for new sign ups, it’s stopped them.
