Hopefully that is Soucek in for Noble for the rest of the season now.

Am I the only one who thought Fredericks was OK today too?
Fredericks contributed more effectively and can take heart from his performance.

Not sure I see a 3 - 2 win against Chelsea, with a good goal scratched lucky.

Think you missed the point. Why didn't Nobes play ? Do you or anyone seriously think we would have got that result with him in midfield.

Yes, it just shows we are better without Noble, theirs no argument about that.

Why I say lucky is because if he was injured he couldn't pick him or was he saving him for Newcastle because he thought we had no chance against Chelski. Or has he suddenly grown some balls and made the decision that has been obvious for ages now.

Very happy to eat humble.
Didn't give them a cat in hell's chance.
Moyes made the changes and they worked....at last.

WELL WELL WELL....I never see that coming.

Great result and a decent performance against the best team behind Liverpool and City.

Rode our luck, but on the other hand, didn`t get the rub of the green with VAR Goal.

Thought we did well and looked threatening tonight when we attacked. Not seen that for a while.

Well happy with that.Looked like the Soueck and Rice partnership worked tonight.Let`s keep it that way.

Knew once Yarmolenko got the ball on his left peg,it would go in.

A VERY HAPPY WEST HAM FAN TONIGHT..GET IN THERE!!!

Jesus Christ the messiah on a skateboard.
Where did that result come from?

I was already happy to accept a fighting defeat. Now we have a massive chance to grab safety by the bollocks.

I think Lanzini, particularly after the first water-break, worked his arse off. His first touch wasn't to his usual high standard and he definitely looked less than sharp. That said, he came into a midfield to replace Noble against Chelsea and I thought was worth his place in the team. I wouldn't change the team for Newcastle, Lanzini building strength and understanding with Fornals and Bowen will lead to good things imho. Look at it this way, unlike Anderson, Lanzini's footballing brain will work on some level with the players now around him and if Antonio can keep the ball alive in the opponent's half, then i want players like him creating.

Lets keep him in and see how he does. If he doesn't work then Jack is the ideal sub after 55-60 mins, after all it's suicide to play him longer than that!
