A Pointlessly Interesting Statistic

Post by Whiskyman »

Apparently David Moyes only needs one more defeat to equal Harry Redknapp's total of 238 Premier League defeats which is, apparently, athe most anyone has ever achieved.

Although I'm not sure "achieved" is quite the right word in that context.

So if things go tits up he could be the new record holder after the Spurs game on Thursday.

Perhaps a presentation on the pitch before the game against Freiburg ? ;)

You are correct, it is pointless.

Which is what I suspect we will be today if we play like we did in last 2 games.
It’s not what you do it is the way that you do it.

I am confident that today's game will not be afripping white knuckle extravaganza of scintillating football skills. A contest between teams managed by Moyes and Hodgson promises to be about as gripping as a game of chess or the qualifying stages of the European curling championships.

And then we can all look forward to being dismantled by the fat Aussie's team on Thursday.
