Re: Abellio Engineering Works

Not the line I use so I may be wrong but can't people going that way go into Liverpool Street and get trains to Shenfield etc from there? Surely that would beat schlepping it by replacement bus?

Re: Jason Cundy`s mate on Talksport.

They've lost their best broadcaster (Colin Murray) last week which was a bad move. Talk sport used to contain far more caller content but it recent years that has been replaced with ever more talking in the studio. They launched a second channel and I'm not sure if that's any better but I've always...

Re: 12 v 4 your thoughts. on transfers.

If we deliberatley strengthened the depth of the squad in order to prepare for a Europa league campaign then they made a complete pigs ear of it . Again. They knew Lanzini and Payet would be missing from those qualifiers months ago and had no adequate replacement for them and it's that lack of crea...

Re: Toni Martinez

How about we give him a go against Accrington. Here's the thing though... We have Fletcher in the first team now; so he'll probably start that game. I'm just hoping we use Martinez on the bench for Stanley and not Calleri. On the bench? Imo if he's got any promise at all he should start against Acc...

Re: Jason Cundy`s mate on Talksport.

And in a nutshell you have summed up exactly what makes Talk Sport a very succesful business. Opinionated presenters winding up the great unwashed so that they phone in on a premium phone number, hang on for ages to actually get on the air, talk for a few seconds and then get cut off. For me the fun...

Re: Jack Sullivan has his say.

For what it is worth, my wife teaches dyslexic kids for a living and also my best friend suffers from it Then I'm pretty sure Mrs Hammerman and your friend will happily confirm that report wasn't written by someone who suffers from that particular condition. But it does seem bloody unfair that dysl...

Re: Champs League

Fair comment although I did say "over the years". Since I started watching the game (early 70's) those sods have won the F A Cup 3 times, the UEFA cup twice and the Mickey Mouse cup on a few occasions. And they've qualified for the bloody CL again. I think we can all agree they have been ...

Re: Champs League

Wouldn't have thought so either with a capacity of only 32,000. Man City always reduce rates for CL group games and they are a "bigger club" than Spurs using my rules for deciding what makes a "big club". What pisses me off is that a club like Spurs, with a similar capacity, and...

Re: Who would you have liked at WH

I do like the look of nolito (sp) I think negrado could have done a job too. Gutted about tonka too. Don't think we would have had any chance of Nolito. Before he joined City it was rumoured Barca wanted him. Agree with you about Negredo. Quality striker. Me? I've banged on about Kevin Volland when...

Re: Champs League

I suspect Leicester and other clubs don't offer reduced rates. Big club my arse. Wouldn't have thought so either with a capacity of only 32,000. Man City always reduce rates for CL group games and they are a "bigger club" than Spurs using my rules for deciding what makes a "big club&...
