Re: Kouyate sold?

Scored the 1st ever WHU goal at the LS (Antonio scored the 1st league goal). Bit of an end of an era. He was a key component of that last magnificent season at the Boleyn. He was fantastic for us then, kicking off with that headed goal in the 1st game of the season against Arsenal away to give us a ...

Re: Kouyate sold?

I agree he has been mainly poor for a long time now.But I thought his first two seasons for us,he done a more than reasonable job. But I am not sure £9.5 million for a 28 year old with his experience is good business?Surely he should be worth 15 million+ in today’s market?Or am I just looking throu...

Re: Kouyate sold?

That will come back to bite us in the arse......as per usual kickimmuts Wouldn't be surprised! Wouldn't that be just SO WHU? Wilshire gets injured etc....Sad to see him go, but maybe he's become a bit light-weight/surplus to requirements compared to what we are aiming for now. But at 11-12mil for h...

Re: Kouyate sold?

No big loss really. He's been quite poor for a while now. He used to be so cheerful and laughing in everything. Eventually, he got v disillusioned when Slav made him play at RB a few times. I think he'd been heavily influenced by sour-puss Sakho, and even Ayew. He markedly improved once they had go...

Felipe on the left? Shouldn't he be a no 10?

We all know Anderson didn't exactly shine in the Ipswich game, but hey, it was his 1st appearance....maybe wan't 100% fit etc, but I felt he was v crampt on the LW. To get the best out of him, and get the best service to Arnie, shouldn't he be going down the centre? If so, where does Wilshire fit in...

Re: Obiang to be sold

5m seems absolutely ridiculous. He's a pretty good player. He'd be 1st on the team sheet for a bottom 12 club. That's got to be 15-18m, surely. He does the business without fuss and on occasions has been outstanding...does get a few too many cards for my liking, though. He's a solid DM which Noble i...

Re: Cressie - Will he good enough...and if he's injured?

Absolutely, that is what Pelle will do because those are his only options (apart maybe from Ogbonna), but is it good enough? Sure, all the time we have the ball the opposition can't attack us and as we are now such an attacking unit, hopefully this will be successful against most outside top 6. HOW...

Re: Cressie - Will he good enough...and if he's injured?

I think Cresswell will play as first choice but Pellegrini will have no problems playing Masuaku at LB when needed and won't mind his attacking tendencies. Absolutely, that is what Pelle will do because those are his only options (apart maybe from Ogbonna), but is it good enough? Sure, all the time...

Re: Cressie - Will he good enough...and if he's injured?

As a WB Cresswell is up to it, his assists in the premiership last season prove that he has something to offer. As for a dedicated LB in a back four, we could do with one, but we also have Ogbonna, who is left footed and played in that position a few times, I don't know whether he can adapt to this...

Cressie - Will he be good enough...and if he's injured?

Hi friends, Obviously, we are all buzzing with the new arrivals - I'm getting all sorts of friends saying "What's going on at WHU?" (Whey hey!) But this also poses 2 problems: 1) Because we have stepped up a level and because Pelle plays with only 4 across the back, do you think Cressie is...
