Spot on. Tomkins whilst never going to be in the top 10% of defenders in the game was ALWYS going to be an asset PARTICULARLY because of his battling qualities, his never give up attitude and general will to win!! Throw in the fact he could play in Central Defence or RB ( ok maybe not as well at RB...

Cullen should definitely be in the team over Kouyate in my opinion. He is miles better on the ball and would be up for the fight. The Southampton players were not playing for Pelligrino anymore. They have a decent squad and would actually say,probably the best from the Bottom 10 in the PL. Sorry mate, that's just wishful thinking. Every team they own, old or not, has been rebranded to include Red Bull in the name. Fuck that.
