Re: Lopegetui agreed to become our next manager.

Underwhelming is an understatement. More fool me for believing that A. Steidten would be recruiting the new manager/head coach and B. that it would be a young progressive exciting up and coming appointment . I wanted an appointment that would actually progress us as a club , improve our standing in...

Re: Lopegetui agreed to become our next manager.

What I heard that Loppy uses the 3 midfielder tactics so likely 4-3-1-2 or 4-3-3 formation or 4-3-2-1 so in current squad we have is Alvarez, Paqueta and Soucek or JWP with front of it in Kudus, new striker, Bowen. I reckon only 1 left out of that 4 next season ibbs. If the club was serious that is.

Re: Saying goodbye to Moyesie

I googled but I still can't find Viel Gluck, who does he play for? An undiscovered gem my friend. He is the much sought after central defensive lynchpin of VfL Nutzlose-Wichter who play in the second division of the Baden-Wurttenberg Regional League. He is an uncomporomising , old fashioned central...

Re: Saying goodbye to Moyesie

100% agree, I can name a few mangers we gave shit to including Harry, who played some good football and had some excellent players in his team. The problem was ... as usual the board sold all our crown jewels, even back in Bobbys day we were never a standout league team and had a good cup team. I c...

Re: Lopegetui agreed to become our next manager.

Here you go BLC , everything you need to know I would imagine . https://www.coachesvoice.com/cv/julen-lopetegui-sevilla-real-madrid-spain/ Apparently likes a passing game, and favours technically gifted players in midfield , which would rule out Soucek . Thanks clay. A good read and insight into wh...

Re: West Ham vs Luton Official Match Thread

Ok, without wishing to be disrespectful or condescending… They probably don’t belong at this level They have a pretty poor squad They have really ridden their luck this season Their lucky breaks mean they are still in the PL for now They really are there for the taking Some of their performances ha...

Re: West Ham vs Luton Official Match Thread

Once again we are presented with a chance to have a look at some emerging talent. Once again I suspect the opportunity will be overlooked. If the new gaffer was in charge, yeh play some kids and have a butchers, but it's the Moyesiha's last home game. He won't be taking any chances. Unless it's a 2...

Re: Saying goodbye to Moyesie

I’m appreciative of what we’ve accomplished under DM. I’ve been in a primarily depressed state since the post-Redknapp era, save for a short-lived period of excitement in our FA Cup final appearance, and Icelandic free-for-all spending. So to have a season or two of mixing it with traditional Europ...

Re: Saying goodbye to Moyesie

A loss at home to Luton and the farewell parade will be a funeral procession. Also a loss to Luton after the arsefucking by Chelsea and the players can fuck off with him.
