Re: Tony Henry FFS

I'm pleased the FA is investigating this incident. They will uncover whether Sullivan was involved and condoned this approach. If he is implicated, he will be forced to resign. This Henry event may well be the beginning of the end for DS. And possibly this ownership. Why would you want a person dam...

USA Hammer (@1westhamfan) Looking for 2 Spurs Tickets

Great to meet some fellow Hammers fans on the boat this evening. My son and I are in from California for a fortnight on a WHU footballing holiday and are desperately looking for 2 Spurs away tickets. As just mentioned, we just came back from the West Brom game. We depart back to San Fran Friday. See...

Re: West Ham v Tottenham - Official Match Thread

If Bilic told those playing against Bolton that they should go out an prove why they should be starting regularly, then if he i going to maintain any credibility among his players, Masuaku, Ogbonna and Arnautovic must start. They proved to the Gaffer in their Bolton performances that they met the re...

Re: West Ham v Stoke - Official Match Thread & preview

I'm not sure that Slav, ALTHOUGH A GREAT MAN MANAGER, is a very good tactician. Does he have that apocryphal quality Arnold ? I really haven't seen too much evidence of it........ Sorry to put you on the spot, but any examples? There seem to have been reported problems with several players, Song, A...

Re: West Ham v Stoke - Official Match Thread & preview

Here's my take on Adrian's rush of blood. He was clipped in the box by Crouch a couple of minutes before Bojan's goal. He was down on the ground clutching his knee at that time and it was clearly painful for him. From what I saw, Crouch's raking Adrian's his knee was inadvertent. But Adrian was dea...

Re: West Ham v Stoke - Official Match Thread & preview

What got me today was we had 3 at the back AND normally Noble often just against Bony. Now how a 3 man defence can't handle 1 striker is beyond me when we have the ball. I think sometimes the wing backs were too far forward and the defensive midfielders were too far back so there was a gulf between...

Re: Team for Brom?

I would love Arbeloa to start at RB, but according to Stijn's injury report, he is not yet fit. I think Sam will be an excellent RB in a few years, but he is a huge liability right now. The first 30 minutes vs. Watford showed what our potential is offensively; we don't need an offensive, overlapping...
